This body of work considers clothing as a form of decoration; our outer layer, which we select very carefully. Like gift wrapping, clothing is used not only to decorate but to conceal. Fashion magazines often inspire my compositions. Some paintings incorporate an element of collage whereby I have used wrapping paper or printed fabric in the composition of the piece. Generally the paintings are colourful and combine decorative arts with figurative painting.
