Interview: Marketing Your Art as an Introvert

Interview: Marketing Your Art as an Introvert

This may come as a surprise, but I hate being in front of the camera. In all my friend group photos, you can usually just see the top of my head in the back row.

My New Year's resolution was to get more comfortable with putting myself forward and sharing my art journey with the public. So I must have somehow manifested my recent invitation to speak on Ros Gervay's art podcast.

Ros is a business coach for new and rising artists. She helps build confidence in artists to show up and sell their work so they can build a fulfilling art business and get paid to do what they love.

She did a great job of making me feel comfortable while we discussed marketing your art business in the modern world of social media and my life-changing experience at an artist residency in France.

You can check out the interview on YouTube or wherever you listen to podcasts. You can also find Ros's details and resources below. Take a listen and let me know what you think. Hopefully, you find something in there that can help you move forward in your own artistic career.
